Hello! I'm Amiee Carley, the founder and principal designer of Evans Street Design Co. Originally from Houston, Texas, I now call Atlanta home, where I live with my husband, Ryan, and our three beloved dogs—Bruce Wayne, Sophie, and Gatsby. Our little pack brings endless joy and inspiration to my daily life.
My passion for gardening and landscape design was cultivated early on, tending to my grandparents' expansive kitchen garden and assisting my mother in beautifying our yard. These formative experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for the natural world and the transformative power of thoughtful design.
Professionally, I hold certifications as a Certified Landscape Designer and a Certified Garden Designer, credentials that underscore my commitment to excellence in landscape and plant care . I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from Georgia Southern University, a program that provided me with a deep understanding of human growth and family dynamics .

Initial Consultation
I went into this knowing NOTHING about plants and walked away feeling like a legit garden goddess. The consultation was super fun—like chatting with a friend who just happens to be a plant genius. Amiee totally “got” my vision (even when I didn’t really know what it was yet). I’m now obsessed with my new little plant babies and can’t wait to see the full design come to life!
My dream of growing my own herbs and veggies finally came true! Evans Street helped me plan a gorgeous kitchen garden that’s both functional and so pretty. We’re talking rosemary bushes, raised beds for tomatoes, and even a little lemon tree (!!). I’ve already made three meals using stuff from my own garden. Highly recommend if you're a foodie with a green thumb (or even just a green pinky).
